For shops and shippers · own online store, marketplaces, B2B
from the first package

Nymil monitors every package from order to customer.

Monitoring means: checking addresses, tracking delivery, detecting delays, loss, damage, and incorrect invoices. And retrieving what the carrier owes.

Three months free, all five modules, then from €19 per month. You only pay a commission when Nymil has retrieved postage or a claim. Your labels, your carrier contract, and your Billbee remain as they are – Nymil only needs read access.

Built by merchants for merchants

24 %of the checked addresses needed correction – missing house number, typo, wrong company.
1,8 %of shipments arrive damaged, not at all, or only after a return. Around 95% of these are due to address or delivery – the cases Nymil prevents.
5 %have at least one failed delivery attempt. Every twentieth package – and each one a moment when it can go back.
0,9 %come back as returns, more than half because nobody picked them up. Each costs postage both ways and lost revenue.
32 €costs an undeliverable package, fully calculated: forward and return postage, reshipping, support. The lost customer isn't included yet.

Weighted averages across all evaluated shipments: 15,654 packages from own fulfillment (2023–24), 26,086 shipments with complete scan history (DHL, DPD, GLS, 2025–26), and 1,589 checked addresses. All figures from carrier scan events and receipts.

What Nymil changes for you

Today you pay for mistakes the carrier makes – with postage, with support hours, with customers. From now on the carrier pays.

Five points where a package can go wrong – and what will happen instead. Not starting today: In the test Nymil imports your shipping history and lets old cases run through retroactively.

Address validation · before shipping

The address is correct before the label is printed.

An order from Lyon, "Rue de la République", without house number. The street is 1.2 kilometers long. Previously: The package ships, comes back, you pay postage twice and the customer asks where it is.

Now: Nymil recognizes the company, finds number 12, and asks the customer in French if that's correct. 27 minutes later the address is corrected in Billbee, and a photo of the gate entrance with "Bell Dubois" is on the label.

  • Every fourth checked address needs correction – now it happens before shipping, not after the return
  • The customer is asked, not you. In his language.
  • The driver gets photo, note, and opening times – and finds the entrance on the first try

Extended tracking · in transit

Your customer knows where his package is – before he asks you.

The package is stuck in the depot for two days, then the driver rings, nobody there, off to the parcel shop. Previously: The customer writes after five days, you search the carrier portal, and on day seven the package goes back.

Now: Nymil checks the depot as soon as nothing happens. After the failed attempt, your customer receives an email within three minutes: parcel shop, 300 meters, until 8 PM, photo and route. On day three Nymil reminds them, on the last day once more.

  • Fewer "Where's my package?" emails – the answer is already with the customer
  • More than half of all returns happen because nobody picks them up. Exactly those are prevented by the reminder.
  • All carriers in one protocol, with delivery time and failed attempts per country

Postage refunds · at the obstacle

Delivered late or sent back without reason – the postage comes back.

You paid an extra €8.50 to have the package there by 12 o'clock. It arrives at 2:07 PM. Or: The address is correct, the driver can't find it three times, the package goes back – and you pay forward and return postage. Previously: No one notices it, no one complains, the money is gone.

Now: Nymil compares delivery scan and promised time and demands the surcharge back within the deadline. If a package returns despite a verified address, Nymil already has the evidence chain: address correct, opening times on label, depot informed. That's a carrier error – and the postage both ways is claimed back.

  • Express delayed: surcharge back; for UPS Express products with service guarantee the freight
  • Return despite correct address: forward and return postage back, reshipping with supplemented note
  • Additional service paid, not provided – such as the signature that was never given

Claims · lost or damaged

A lost package now costs you five minutes, not an afternoon.

Day 20 without scan domestically, day 30 internationally. Under § 424 HGB the package is considered lost, and you would have one year to retrieve the money. Or the customer writes: "Cardboard dented, glass broken." Previously: Search for form, dig out invoice, request photos, follow up after three weeks – or just don't, and write off the goods value.

Now: Nymil files the investigation request, attaches invoice and proof of delivery, reads the carrier's response and objects if it doesn't fit. For damage, the customer gets a photo link right away, and the report goes out within the 7-day deadline. You approve. The carrier pays you – up to €500 at DHL, €750 at GLS, plus postage.

  • Lost and damaged – both cases completely handled, from report to payment
  • Replacement shipment and new tracking number are attached to the same case, the customer sees both
  • Documents, deadlines, objections, batch claims: none of that lands on your desk

Invoice auditing · after the invoice

Every position of the carrier invoice audited – before the deadline expires.

Line 1: 4.56 kg charged. On the label it said 2.50. Previously: The invoice has 38 items, you don't have an afternoon for it, and after 30 days it's considered accepted.

Now: Nymil compares each position with label data, protocol and your price list – weight verification and weighing reconciliation, bulky goods surcharges, duplicate tracking numbers, return postage without return scan, paid services that were never provided. What doesn't match is marked and prepared as a credit note. One click, done.

  • Invoices as CSV or PDF – no access to your carrier accounts needed
  • Objection deadlines in view – Nymil knows your carrier's
  • If a carrier is systematically billing incorrectly, you see it after two invoices – with documents for your next conversation

What stands at month-end

Your dashboard after one month – delivery time, cases, rescued money.

Example view with DPD shipper conditions (EU mix, ø €180 goods value), scaled to 500 shipments per month. Delivery times are real measured values, case rates are the average of 26,086 shipments.

Nymil in two minutes – address verification, Extended tracking, postage refunds and claims in the example account. All data fictitious, no sound.

Amounts based on DPD price list of the shipper (pickup DE €16.25, FR/IT €26.40, ES €40.16; express surcharge €8.50; DPD liability up to €520). "Expected" means: claim and deadline are fixed – paid when the carrier pays.

* Retroactively varies by carrier: as far as your carrier's deadline is still open, for loss up to one year. The carrier pays you, Nymil bills afterwards. If nothing comes, the case costs nothing. Postage and invoice corrections include return postage, express surcharge, undelivered additional service and incorrect invoice item.

What else applies

  • All prices net, monthly cancellable, setup free.
  • Shipments count per calendar month.
  • Delivery support off: address verification for all shipments, included in price.
  • Delivery support on: each shipment counts as an address; above the included quantity, the price applies per additional.

Delivery support

Nymil always checks the address. The delivery support gets the driver to the door.

One switch per account. Off is included in price. On counts per shipment, because map services, images and opening times cost money per address.

Always – delivery support off

Address verification for all shipments, included in price

  • Correct typos and spelling
  • Check street, postal code and house number against map data
  • Missing house number: ask customer in his language, hold label until then
  • Recognize parcel locker and post office and format correctly
  • Take corrected address into Billbee or Shopware
  • Evidence chain for return claims: address verified

Additionally – delivery support on

Each shipment counts as a delivery support address

  • Recognize business address, opening times for the driver
  • Photo of entrance (Street View, selected automatically)
  • Directions map with route to door
  • Delivery note in one sentence ("Entrance in courtyard, bell Dubois")
  • A6 driver label with photo, note, opening times and QR code to driver page
  • Evidence chain for return claims complete: address, note, opening times

For domestic private addresses, verification is often enough. For business addresses, export and valuable goods, delivery support pays for itself from the first avoided return: DPD charges €15 per package with address or postal code error, €3.75 per new delivery attempt and €16.25 for pickup (DPD price list of a shipper, 2026). Return claims against the carrier need the complete evidence chain from delivery support.

Questions

What merchants ask us first

Does Nymil need my carrier access data?
Yes – what exactly varies by carrier: sometimes customer number and invoice export are enough, sometimes Nymil needs API access or its own user in the carrier portal. We set that up together at launch. Your shop or Billbee access stays read-only, your contracts and conditions stay untouched. Carrier communication then runs fully automated through the Nymil claims system – if you want, you read everything in copy or in the customer portal too.
Who gets the money from a claim?
You, directly from the carrier. Nymil then charges 15% for claims and 30% for recovered postage and invoice corrections – the same everywhere from the €99 tier. At entry and in the three free months it's 20% and 40%. If nothing is credited, the case costs nothing. Only for retroactively imported cases from your shipping history do 50% apply to postage refunds and 30% to loss refunds.
Does Nymil really write to my customers in my name?
Yes, via your SMTP server and with your templates. Each email can require approval beforehand until you trust the automation.
What if I only ship with DHL?
Whether DHL only or all available carriers in Europe – we set everything up together with you.
Where is the data?
On its own servers in Germany and the EU, with a data processing agreement. Customer data is only processed for address verification, delivery communication and claims. For delivery support we query map services – only the address, never the name. Successfully delivered shipments are deleted from our system immediately.
Do I have to change my shipping?
No. Nymil doesn't create labels and doesn't change carrier contracts. It reads orders and tracking along and reports when a package costs money.
Is that GDPR compliant?
Yes. Nymil processes shipment and recipient data for a specific purpose based on legitimate interest (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR) – for delivery, address verification and claims, secured via a data processing agreement.
Can I use only parts of Nymil?
Yes. Only manual claims, only address validation, or any other combination – you use what you need.
How do the supplementary labels get into our system?
Via the Nymil desktop app for PC and Mac: It automatically prints approved supplementary labels at your packing station.
Is there an app for the warehouse to capture damage directly?
Yes – the warehouse app is in beta testing and available by end of 2026. Your staff capture damage with photos directly on the package.
My shipping runs through a fulfillment center – does that work?
Yes, no problem. We work with the customer numbers your fulfillment service provider created for you. You get the approval form for your service provider from us at launch.
